Terms & Conditions

1. General Agreement

By booking an appointment with Pristine Pups Mobile Pet Spa, you (the “Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of your pet and the best possible service from our professional grooming team.


2. Pet Health & Welfare

  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any health conditions, allergies, behavioural issues, or injuries your pet may have prior to grooming.

  • We will not groom any pet that appears unwell, has a contagious condition, or poses a risk to itself or others.

  • If your pet shows signs of stress or aggression, we reserve the right to stop the groom for their safety and that of the groomer.

  • In the unlikely event of an accident or medical emergency, we will seek veterinary attention at the nearest available practice. Any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the pet owner.


3. Vaccinations & Fleas

  • All pets must be up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.

  • If fleas are found, an additional cleaning fee of £[insert amount] will apply, and the groom may be shortened or terminated.


4. Matting Policy

At Pristine Pups Mobile Pet Spa, your pet’s comfort always comes first.

  • If your dog’s coat is matted, we will assess the severity upon arrival.

  • Light matting may be brushed out for an additional fee of £10.

  • Severe matting can cause pain, bruising, or skin irritation. In such cases, we will humanely clip the coat short rather than brush it out, in accordance with The Animal Welfare Act 2006 (UK).

  • We will always prioritise your pet’s wellbeing over appearance.

  • Pristine Pups Mobile Pet Spa cannot be held responsible for any irritation, redness, nicks, or skin issues revealed beneath matted fur.


5. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 100% late cancellation fee.

  • Repeated no-shows may require full payment in advance for future bookings.

  • If we arrive and are unable to access your property or your dog is unavailable, this will be treated as a missed appointment.


6. Behaviour & Safety

  • For everyone’s safety, we reserve the right to refuse or stop grooming any pet that becomes too aggressive or distressed.

  • A handling fee may apply for difficult or aggressive pets.

  • Owners are responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pet.


7. Mobile Service & Access

  • Please ensure parking is available within a reasonable distance for our grooming van.

  • Access to an electrical outlet (if required) must be available.

  • We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or access issues.


8. Payments

  • Payment is due upon completion of the groom, unless otherwise agreed.

  • We accept apple pay, google pay, and all cards.

  • Prices are subject to change based on coat condition, size, temperament, and grooming requirements.


9. Photography & Social Media

  • With your consent, photos or videos of your pet may be taken before and after grooming for use on our social media and marketing materials.

  • Please notify us if you do not wish for your pet’s photos to be used.


10. Liability

  • Pristine Pups Mobile Pet Spa is fully insured with Protectivity Insurance, including public liability and pet care coverage.

  • While every care is taken, grooming is carried out at your own risk.

  • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, allergic reactions, or unexpected medical issues that may arise during or after grooming.


11. Data Protection

  • All client and pet information is stored securely and used only for booking and record-keeping purposes, in compliance with GDPR regulations.

  • Your data will never be shared without your consent.


12. Agreement

By booking or attending an appointment with Pristine Pups Mobile Pet Spa, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
